About the event
Join us for our annual Christmas celebration in downtown Rutherfordton! St. Nick will be at KidSenses for the family to visit and take a keepsake photo, plus holiday snacks and hot coco. Merchants and restaruants will be open all day and into the late evening. Don't miss the winter Farmer's Market showcasing local goodies until noon.
Stroll the streets to enjoy the painted window scenes and decorated displays full of holiday cheer. The day gets rocking at 5pm with the annual Christmas Parade featuring marching bands, fire engines, dancing, floats, Santa and more.Â
Make sure you stay for the lighting of the largest Cedar Christmas tree in Western North Carolina on the courthouse lawn. Ol' 74 Jazz will be performing both before and after the tree lighting. Come kick-off your holiday season with us on December 7. A fun filled day for everyone!
