Gears and Gables Race for Housing

This year's Gears and Gables event is looking to be one for the books. New routes, a new look, and a new experience for all involved. The ride will feature a 24-mile, 41-mile and 62-mile route through the scenic backroads of Rutherford County and the Blueridge Foothills.

When: Saturday May 5 at 8:00 am

Where: Downtown Rutherfordton at First Baptist Church

Get involved and help raise money for urgent repairs needed in our community. There are several ways to get involved:

• Be a Rider: Participate in our event and sign-up as a cyclist.
• Be a Ghost Rider: Not feeling a long bike ride? Don't worry you can still give back.
• Sponsor the event: Sign-up to be one of our sponsors and promote your business while supporting your community.
• Be a Volunteer: We are always needing people to help make the event a success.
